It's Easter Week End, and as you can see from the pictures of my backyard, it has rained. My rain gauge goes up to 6 inches. We had 5 &1/2 inches last night. Needless to say, when I got up this morning for the sunrise service, it was not happening. It was cold and rainy. The temp was around 40 with the wind blowing about 30 miles per hour. We met inside our fellowship hall.
Ok , now that Easter is over, I can get back to doing some more regular posting on my blog. Here is a picture of my crew right after our last Easter performance. It all went well. We had 3 nights of standing room only. It was fun, but also a lot of work. But I have good people, with a lot on the ball, and that makes all the difference in the world.
Personal stuff: Becky has started her new job at the pharmacy. She seems to really like it. Abby and Bethany are doing what they do and I am getting but not wiser. The kayak / pirogue project is now about set to take off. I will post pictures as I go along.

A 6 inch rain gauge is pretty "piddly"! You are in Texas, right? BIGGER,BETTER, etc. Maybe you could float that piryak in your backyard!!
I tell you what, it makes me long for the panhandle of Texas. Laugh if you want, but the piryak will be born soon.
P.S. What do you think of a 2002 Saturn? I found one for sale, and am thinking about buying it for Bethany.
I had a Saturn ONCE. ALL parts are dealer-high dollar items. If you don't have a good family mechanic that owns a Saturn franchise, stay away from it. Go to Autozone and try to buy brake pads for it, then call Saturn ripoff and see what their price is. I don't plan on owning another one. Now, what part of "don't buy it" do you not understand? My son-in-law mechanic says bad,bad words when Saturn is mentioned. I believe he knows better than I know. Everything is dealer item!!
Thanks for the info. I 've checked with others and pretty gotten the same story.
